Zhuanno: Evra did not deserve a place in France team

Minister of Sports of France Chantal Zhuanno believes that the former French captain, Patrice Evra should not be called into the national team after what happened at the World Cup in South Africa. Recall that Evra was one of the initiators of the conflict with the then-head coach Raymond Domenech tricolor.

"I can not understand why the team want to recover the initiators of what happened in South Africa. Regardless of their game to do this is simply unacceptable. I have nothing against Evra, but after the incident he did not deserve a place in the team. I'm sure there are other talented players who respect their national team "- quoted Zhuanno L'Equipe.

Recall that after returning home, they appeared before the Special Commission and gave an explanation for their actions. As a result, striker Nicolas Anelka was banned for 18 matches, defender Evra - five, and midfielders Franck Ribery and Jeremy Toulalan - three each.
